President Ram Nath Kovind honours by King of Swaziland Mswati
President Ram Nath Kovind was honoured by King of Swaziland in Swaziland’s Mbabane on 09 April.
President Kovind is accompanied by First Lady Savita Kovind to the three-nation tour of Africa including -Equatorial Guinea, Swaziland and Zambia. Earlier on Monday in the first-ever visit of an Indian head to Equatorial Guinea, President Kovind announced to open an Indian embassy in Equatorial Guinea to strengthen the diplomatic ties between the two countries. The official trip will end on April 12.
Haryana govt announces special benefits to TB patients
Haryana state government has decided to provide special benefits, including nutritional support, to tuberculosis patients in an effort to eliminate the infectious disease by 2025.
An incentive of Rs 1,000 would be given to private providers for managing TB patients on the notification till treatment outcome through DBT,”
With the Slogan “TB Harega-Desh Jeetega”, Vij urged people to come forward as leaders to make the world TB-free.
Besides, free services would be provided to TB patients in government hospitals of Haryana, including sputum examination and X-Ray. For this, CBNAAT machines have been provided to all districts for accurate and quick diagnosis.

CWG 2018: India Win Badminton Team Gold For first time In CWG History
India clinched their first-ever badminton mixed team event gold in Commonwealth Gameshistory after defeating defending champions Malaysia 3-1 in the final at Gold Coast.
India's previous best performance in the mixed team event at CWG was a silver-medal finish in the 2010 edition.

CWG 2018: Indian Men's Table Tennis Team Wins Gold
India defeated Nigeria to clinch gold in the men's table tennis team event at the Commonwealth Games for the first time since 2006.
With this, India joined England to bag second-most table tennis gold medals (5) at CWG.
